Coventry play down Souness talk

Coventry City have denied weekend reports that Graeme Souness is making a late bid to buy the club.

‘That is certainly not true,’ chairman Geoffrey Robinson told the Coventry Telegraph after a sighting of Souness at the Ricoh Arena sparked the rumours.

Robinson has also insisted that the deal to sell the club to Manhattan Sports Capital Partners is on track.
