After a welcome week off following their FA Cup victory at Barnsley, Coventry City play host to Crawley Town at Sixfields on Sunday afternoon looking to push closer to the play-off places in League One.

The Sky Blues finished strongly at Oakwell and Steven Pressley’s side head into the game having more than twice as many goals as their opponents but are already without Callum Wilson while fellow striker Leon Clarke has a groin strain.

‘We`ll have to look at that situation very carefully because we don`t want to risk him for one game and end up losing him for a month,’ Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph as he weighs up a new signing or a ‘home’ debut for recent Dutch recruit Denzel Slager.

Crawley, just below City in the table, were beaten in the FA Cup at home by Bristol Rovers in midweek.

Manager John Gregory said afterwards: ‘I was a little bit disappointed with the second half performance but we will take it all into consideration, there has still been far more good performances since I`ve been here than bad ones. This wasn`t a good performance and the players feel like they`ve let the fans down.”
