A busier week on the transfer front for the Sky Blues although no new faces have been added to the squad as yet.

Most likely to join soon is Norwich City midfielder Sammy Clingan.

Sunday’s newspapers suggested the Northern Ireland international had ‘snubbed’ a move to the Ricoh Arena, which City quickly made clear was not the case.

The ex-Nottingham Forest man is keen to come and a fee has been agreed but the Sky Blues are rightly refusing to play ball with Clingan’s agent and his demands for a fee.

Reports in East Anglia on Monday suggest Clingan has been given a deadline to sort out the situation with his representative.

Jordan Henderson remains on the radar and Chris Coleman has urged fans to stay positive despite the money being spent elsewhere.

Not leaving (yet) is Danny Fox, with city having turned down what they described as a ‘pathetic’ offer for the player.

Nottingham Forest are the latest club to be linked with the left-back.
