One for the future possibly as the Sky Blues are being linked with Rhyl FC winger Luke Holden.

A star performer in the Welsh Premier League for his club, 20-year-old Holden is reportedly set for talks at the Ricoh Arena after a fee was agreed for his services.

Another wide player unlikely to be donning a Sky Blue shirt soon however is Jordan Henderson, last season’s loan star.

New Sunderland manager Steve Bruce looks to be a fan of the player and handed him a starting role against Chelsea on Tuesday night.

City have maintained their interest in re-signing Henderson on loan again this season but with Premier League football now looking attainable, such a deal looks unlikely.
