Coventry City’s former manager Chris Coleman looks set for another stint working abroad according to reports coming out of Greece, where top division side Larissa have lined up the Welshman as their new coach, seemingly ending speculation that Coleman will become his national side’s new manager.

Sticking with unsubstantiated overseas stories and Aron Gunnarsson’s comments to an Icelandic newspapers have been construed as saying that the midfielder wants out of the Ricoh Arena this summer and is not happy with the contract offer made to him.

Advising the player’s agent to drink a ‘strong cup of black coffee’ before resuming negotiations, manager Aidy Boothroyd made it clear to the Coventry Telegraph that while he has no will to sell either Gunnarsson or Keiren Westwood in January, Gunnarsson in particular would be well advised to show his quality on a consistent basis before angling for a big move.

Westwood has again been linked with Celtic in a story that is set to run and run throughout the rest of December and all of January.
