Coventry City and Sheffield Wednesday shared the spoils at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, keeping the Sky Blues in the top half of the Championship.

Once again Chris Coleman’s side were much better after the half-time break, thanks in no small measure to a triple substitution by the home boss.

Despite that improved display it was the Owls who took the lead however, leaving their fans hoping that a crucial three points was winging its way up to South Yorkshire.

Two of those points were snatched away though courtesy of a man who had come in for stick from the visiting supporters throughout the game.

Richard Wood’s header means his former side still have relegation worries hanging over their heads going into the final half dozen fixtures.
