Coleman pays the price

Announcing Chris Coleman’s sacking, a club statement read:’The board stressed that the decision was not a knee-jerk reaction to Sunday’s match.

‘The team’s form deteriorated rapidly towards the end of the season for the second year running.’

After the awful performance on Sunday and the reaction of the fans, it comes as little surprise that Coleman paid the price. Also all of the players need to look at themselves as a number on Sunday were not interested. It is a shame that they cannot be sacked along with their Manager.

Certainly a start could be made by not renewing any player contract that is up at the end of May.
