Chris Coleman believes the easing of Coventry City’s injury crisis will lead to an upturn in fortunes, with Saturday’s battling comeback against Crystal Palace just the start of a hoped-for improvement.
‘We had a lot of players back today and that showed,’ he said after a more solid and balanced looking Sky Blues came close to taking all three points in the second-half.
He added: ‘I want to see them play half a dozen games together, then you have a chance.’
City now have another week in which to get the likes of Sammy Clingan available for selection and Coleman, speaking to the official club website, commented: ‘We have got to take this result now and go to QPR and do our level best to get something down there.’
