A late, late Coventry City equaliser at the Ricoh Arena capped a determined second-half comeback and left the respective managers in contrasting mood.

‘I’ve been in the other dug out when that happens and it rips your heart out,’ said Sky Blues supremo Chris Coleman.

‘You can’t describe it. When it comes so late it can feel like a win rather than a draw.’

To the visitors however their away point felt more like a defeat, with Leon Best’s leveller coming in the 5th minute of injury time.

‘The feeling in the dressing room is similar to last weekend (when Boro were beaten 5-0 at home),’ said Gareth Southgate.

‘In fact, it might be a little bit worse because we had three points in our grasp and we threw them away – that is difficult to take.’
