Coventry City manager Chris Coleman could not believe his eyes after seeing his side throw away a one-goal lead against Stoke City.
‘When we play physical teams at their own game we can’t win,’ he said after the Potters dominated the second-half at the Ricoh Arena to gain a vital win.
‘We were wishing our lives away, trying to play out time right from the start of the second half.
‘I told the players we couldn’t sit on a one-goal lead but that’s what they tried to do.’
