Coventry City, having gained a point from Saturday’s match at Mansfield despite being reduced to ten men for much of the 90 minutes, face two more of their promotion rivals in the next five days and both opponents are looking to bounce back from surprise weekend defeats.

The only League Two fixture on Tuesday evening sees the Sky Blues, currently six points off the play-off places, travel to Wycombe Wanderers where the Chairboys occupy third place but were shocked at home by Morecambe on Saturday.

The Shrimps raced into a four-goal lead before the hosts raised faint hopes of a comeback with two strikes of their own.

Conceding goals has been a feature of Wycombe’s season to date, their tally of 50 against is at least twelve more than the remainder of the top six.

Lincoln City come to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday for what should be a well-attended Legends Day fixture with the Imps bringing a large travelling support.

They witnessed an equally surprising home defeat at the weekend as relegation-threatened Crewe Alexandra recovered from going a goal down with four of their own at Sincil Bank.
