Coventry City are set to face a mixture of old and new faces when they line up against Arsenal in the League Cup on Wednesday night.

Arsene Wenger traditionally uses the early stages of the competition as a chance to blood some of the (many) talented youngsters at his disposal but, after a solid start to the season, he also has a number of senior players who are in need of first-team action.

Andrey Arshavin, Marouane Chamakh and Sebastien Squillaci should be starting while England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may also play.

For the Sky Blues it may also be an opportunity for Mark Robins. The new manager looked visibly shell-shocked when interviewed on the pitch directly after his first game and, with the weekend clash against Oldham becoming more important by the day, may want to take a look at those members of his new squad who did not feature in the defeat to Carlisle.

The new manager, meanwhile, has made his fourth signing since taking over with the loan capture of James Bailey, a midfielder, from Derby County on a three-month deal.
