City target looking for ‘fresh challenge’

Glen Southam, linked with Coventry City recently, has been explaining his decision to hand in a transfer request at Dagenham & Redbridge.

‘It was a hard decision to come to because I have had a lot of good times at the club,’ he said.

‘But after four years at the club, I now feel it is the time to find a fresh challenge and maybe see if I can test myself at a higher level.’
