The Sky Blues have agreed a deal with Huddersfield Town to sell forward Robbie Simpson, with the player shaking hands on a move to the Galpharm Stadium.
Now 24, Simpson spent two seasons with Coventry and made a positive impression on fans with his bustling displays.
Former club Cambridge United will also benefit from the move, which was made for an undisclosed fee, having inserted a sell-on clause into the original deal.
Huddersfield boss Lee Clark told the official Town website: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled to have Robbie Simpson moving to the club.
‘He is a young, hungry player who wants to get better and that is exactly what I want.’
