Coventry City have not given up hope of landing goalkeeper Marton Fulop on a permanent deal from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Hungarian, impressive in a long loan spell at the Ricoh last season, has a year left on his White Hart Lane deal but will be allowed to leave for the right price.
‘We are trying everything in our power to get Marton Fulop at a price that the club can afford,’ said managing director Paul Fletcher.
‘He had been linked with Wigan but they seem to be making a move for Chris Kirkland which perhaps helps our cause a bit.
‘But the thing we have in our favour is the fact that Marton wants to come here. Unfortunately we appear to be caught in a bit of a waiting game.’
