Coventry City’s return to winning ways against Cheltenham Town at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday sets up next Friday evening’s clash with Wycombe Wanderers in CV6 quite nicely.

Marc McNulty’s winner edged the Sky Blues past the Robins on an afternoon when the result was all important after last weekend’s dismal display at Morecambe.

It pushes City back into the play-off places and two points behind Wycombe who occupy 4th in the table after beating Chesterfield on Saturday.

Although they have struggled at home to break down a number of teams, the Sky Blues have fared better against sides with promotion ambitions of their own, comprehensive wins at the Ricoh against Notts County and Exeter City showing that.

Another small crowd dotted the stadium but the last Friday before Christmas should hopefully generate a better gate and more atmosphere for an important match.

A special ticket offer is in place that reduces the cost to £10 each for a group of ten people and £15 each for groups of six or more.
