Having had a week to take heart from their FA Cup defeat at Brighton and take stock of the 14 matches that remain in their League Two season, Coventry City face a trio of tough tests in what manager Mark Robins has called a ‘defining’ period of the campaign.

Mansfield away on Saturday, a trip to Wycombe Wanderers in midweek and the visit of Lincoln City to the Ricoh Arena next weekend could go a long way to deciding whether the Sky Blues remain in the mix for promotion.

‘We need to be focused on our jobs, which they have been this week,’ Robins said of his players.

‘They are talking among themselves about what we need to do, but the time for talking stops and we have to go and make sure we follow that up with good firm actions and carry out the game plan.’
