Coventry City are weighing up a second bid for Ipswich Town forward Sam Parkin after an offer worth around £200,000 was turned down by the East Anglian club.
Parkin was a regular goalscorer at lower league level with Swindon Town but had a difficult first season at Portman Road.
The player was left out of Ipswich’s opening game of the season as talks on his future progressed.
