West Ham United central defender Elliott Ward has emerged as a potential target for Coventry City.

The 21-year-old spent time on loan at Plymouth Argyle last season and impressed with his performances at Home Park.

Plymouth are keen to re-sign him while Norwich City were also linked with a move earlier this week.

Ward is rated at Upton Park and may not be allowed to leave permanently, but a loan deal for the season could be on the cards.

  • he would be, come back home wardy u loved it in plymouth, but with pulis fuc.king around i wouldnt blame u to move somewhere else

  • Why would he want to drop down from the premiership. Only one reason would be to improve and he’s hardly likely to improve under HOOF pulis is he?
