Chris Coleman will restore David Bell to the Coventry City starting line-up for Saturday’s crunch clash with Crystal Palace and hopes that the Sky Blues will benefit from playing two wide men, with Michael McIndoe set to feature on the opposite flank.

‘We have missed a bit of balance to the side,’ the Ricoh Arena supremo told the Coventry Telegraph.

Kieren Westwood may also return and with new signing Richard Wood set to partner Leon Barnett at the heart of the defence, City will look much stronger on paper and hopefully on the pitch as well.

Claude Davis and Jose Fonte will form Palace’s defensive rearguard with Paddy McCarthy still sidelined while Sean Scannell is also an absentee.
