Coventry City manager Micky Adams will make a move for Tottenham goalkeeper Marton Fulop in the summer if Spurs are willing to sell and he can match the asking price.

The Hungarian under-21 international has become a key part of the Sky Blues side since joining on loan in October and Adams said: ‘What we have offered Marton is an opportunity to put himself on a decent stage and I genuinely do believe that Coventry City has turned the corner.

‘People are now talking about us for all the right reasons.

‘Our performances and league position at the moment can only attract better players and Marton is one of those who, if he got the opportunity, I am sure would join us. But there are a lot of things to happen before that happens.

‘We are just pleased to have him until the end of the season when we will review it.’

Fulop indicated recently that he would be keen to join City, with his first-team chances at White Hart Lane severely limited.

Adams added: ‘If Marton Fulop is available at a price that we think is sensible, we would obviously be interested.’
