City confirm bust-up

Coventry City have confirmed that two players were involved in a training ground bust-up this week.

Michael Doyle and Robert Page are being reported as the players in question.

A spokesman said: “We can confirm there was a training ground incident.

“The matter will be investigated internally and the club will take the course of action deemed most appropriate.’

Irish defender Colin Hawkins meanwhile has signed a permanent deal at the Ricoh Arena after a successful trial.
