Coventry City have agreed an initial £200,000 fee with Walsall for left-back Daniel Fox.
The highly-rated 21-year-old has already held talks with Colchester after the U’s had a similar offer accepted by the Saddlers.
Left-back has been a problem position for the Sky Blues this season with few fans convinced by summer signing Gary Borrowdale.
*Update* City have confirmed that the former Everton academy player will hold talks over personal terms and undergo a medical in the next couple of days.
