With a more positive vibe among Coventry City supporters having been largely unchecked by Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Exeter City, the Sky Blues have added to the mood with a ticket offer for the League Two fixture against Accrington Stanley at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday 10 February.
In addition to an initiative to fill the North Stand with local school children and their families, all tickets purchased in advance for the game will be priced at £5.
Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy told the official club website:
‘The game against Accrington is against one of our promotion rivals, so we need a big backing at the Ricoh, we think it’s a great offer and I’m sure it will entice people to come along.’
Having had a number of PR gaffes this season, from over-officious stewarding to ticket pricing generally, fair play to the club for a well-timed offer that comes on the back of the march to Milton Keynes…
TICKETS: Our #EmiratesFACup tie against MK Dons is a sell-out! 👏👏👏

Before that FA Cup date Swindon Town come to CV6 for another important league fixture and one in which the visitors are set to have a new signing spearheading their attack.
Marc Richards made a free transfer move from Northampton Town earlier this week and brings to the table an excellent record of goalscoring at League Two level.
The 35-year-old also netted at the Ricoh Arena on visits with the Cobblers in the FA Cup in 2015 and the Football League Trophy the following year.
