Coventry City manager Iain Dowie does not want his side to let their standards drop from Tuesday night’s excellent display against Wolves when they take on Barnsley at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

He said: ‘We have got high expectations and we want that again on Saturday.

‘They are giving me 100 per cent at the moment. Can I get any more out of them?

‘I don’t know but I will ask and push for that consummate performance. We want that first half performance against Wolves for 90 minutes now.

‘Barnsley had a magnificent result at Plymouth on Wednesday night. Simon Davey has got them playing some decent football and it will be a tough game.

‘But we don’t want it to be a case of ‘after the Lord Mayor’s show’.

‘Wolves, as good as it was, is finished and done with and we have to move on.’
