Coventry City manager Micky Adams is looking for his side to finish off an encouraging season on a positive note, with a win over Cardiff at the Ricoh on Sunday.

He said: ‘We want to thank our fans for their support this season and finish off on a high.

‘I am not really worried about where we finish. The important thing is we can’t finish any lower than 11th now.

‘We would like to beat Cardiff just for the simple fact that it is a game of football and we want to go out of the season feeling good about ourselves.

‘But I think we will do that anyway because we have had a season of progression again.’

The Sky Blues can finish as high as eighth in the Championship, and will be looking for their twelth home league win of the season.
