Coventry City have added four new players to their squad over the past seven days and show no sign of stopping their summer transfer activity.

After a deal was announced on Monday for Carlisle United right-back Richard Keogh, speculation has emerged linking Lloyd Sam of Charlton Athletic with a move to the Ricoh Arena.

‘If Charlton offer him a contract he will certainly consider it, but he hasn’t heard anything yet,’ Sam’s agent, Eric Walters, told the South London Press.

‘There’s been plenty of interest in Lloyd.

‘There are a few teams in the Championship who have looked at him. Palace, Leeds, Leicester and Coventry have all said they might be keen on him and we’re in talks with all four of them.’

25-year-old Sam has come through the ranks at The Valley to make over 100 league appearances for Charlton.
