Championship: Norwich next for a takeover?

The increasing interest from businessman and investors in Championship clubs has seen Norwich City become the latest side linked with a takeover.

Billionaire Peter Cullum has made an offer of around £20m for the Canaries to but new players but the club have issued a statement outlining that a further £36m would be needed to repay debts and loans and buy further shares.

Sheffield Wednesday are also in the same position as the Sky Blues were this time last year, waiting on a potential takeover that fans hope will enable the club to look to the future with confidence.
