Tuesday 9th December is the date of Coventry City’s first meeting this season with Charlton Athletic and the Addicks could well have new owners by then.
Zabeel Investments, a Dubai-based investment company, have made an indicative offer for the London club.
A Charlton statement read: ‘Should the offer be made formally to shareholders, the board would recommend shareholders to accept it.
‘There is, however, no certainty that a formal offer will be made.’
