The turnover of managers in the Championship is beginning to gather pace with Peter Grant becoming the second departure this week.

The Scot has left Norwich City by mutual consent after a poor start to the season.

‘It was a very difficult decision for us to make but it was right for myself and the football club going forward,’ he told Norwich City’s official website.

‘The most important things for me have always been the supporters and the club itself. They are the two constants while managers and players come and go.’
