Can City Steal A March On Friday Night?

|

On the back of two league defeats and with Mansfield having nudged the out of the League Two play-off places prior to their own 3pm kick-off on Saturday, Coventry City responded excellently to win 2-1 at Crawley and end the afternoon in sixth place after a surprise defeat for Lincoln City.

The Imps play their game in hand on Tuesday evening, a tough home fixture with Wycombe Wanderers, before the Sky Blues get a start on their rivals at the weekend as the Ricoh Arena clash with Stevenage is on Friday evening.

Speaking after the Crawley win, Mark Robins said: ‘The only thing we look forward to now is next Friday which is a great game against Stevenage under the lights.

‘Hopefully the grass at the Ricoh is growing now and we can get that cut into a nice passing pitch and get on with it. But looking forward to that match.’
