A trio of Coventry City players who are keen to leave the Ricoh Arena have been in the news this week.

Julian Gray, despite not yet making a Premier League appearance for Fulham, hopes to stay at Craven Cottage on a permanent basis.

“We`ll see what the future brings, but ideally I would like to be a Fulham player next season, because as I`ve said I`m enjoying my time here,’ he told the official Fulham website.

“Everyone has made me feel really welcome, and I get on with all the players, the manager and the staff.

“It`s a good club to be part of and having settled I`ve now got to just concentrate on what I can bring to the team.”

Swansea City meanwhile are looking into the possibility of keeping Dimi Konstantopolous on a longer basis.

The Greek keeper’s loan at the Liberty Stadium ends before Swansea visit the Sky Blues next week.

Swans manager Robert Martinez told the South Wales Post: ‘Dimi is someone that has been very frustrated (with a lack of football).

‘He has come in, played football, enjoyed it and is in the best stage of his career.

‘We will sit down with Dimi to see how he feels and then it will be between ourselves and Coventry to discuss the possibilities and options.’

Chris Coleman is also hoping that Michael Mifsud will attract potential buyers when playing for Malta against Iceland this week, allowing the striker to jet off despite missing the game against Plymouth.

‘In Michael`s case as well, he has stressed that he wants to leave the club so we think if he is playing for his country it is good exposure for him, and gives us a better chance of doing something in the window,’ Coleman told The Telegraph.
