The Sky Blues look to continue their recent good home form against Crewe Alexandra tomorrow and boss Adams’ believes that not getting their just rewards at Elland Road will not dishearten his side.

He told the club website: ‘We played well but did not get the result and that can happen in football.

‘I’m sure they won’t let it knock their confidence against Crewe.’

Tomorrow’s visitors’ missed out on a morale boosting win over Hull City yesterday but boss Dario Gradi was pleased with both their performance and a goal from striker Eddie Johnson, who was on loan with Coventry last season.

Gradi said: ‘I was pleased Eddie Johnson scored a good goal, and although it was a fantastic strike, that’s the kind of goal he is capable of scoring.

‘Steve Jones now needs to keep his cool around the box and so does Luke Varney as we could do with someone to get us a few goals.’
