Coventry City turned in a much improved performance on Tuesday night to earn an away point against promotion chasing Burnley at Turf Moor.

Caretaker managers Steve Harrison and Andy Thorn will have improved their chances of taking the job on a longer term basis after inspiring a second-half fightback in which the Sky Blues turned a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead, Jutkiewicz and McSheffrey scoring the goals.

Rodriguez levelled for the home side but with Scunthorpe losing at home to Preston, Coventry are now eight points clear of the relegation zone.

Reaction to follow on Vital Coventry.
