West Bromwich Albion midfielder Nigel Quashie feels his side’s strikers will come good, starting against Coventry City on Saturday.

On paper the Baggies have one of the strongest attacking line-ups in the Championship but Nathan Ellington, John Hartson, Diomansy Kamara and Kevin Phillips have struggled for goals at times this season.

‘You want your strikers to score the goals,’ said Quashie.

‘And I’m sure their luck will change and one or two of them will hit the back of the net against Coventry.

‘I think we created enough chances against Barnsley to have won three football matches and so we were disappointed not to win.

‘But the strikers are all capable of scoring fantastic goals and creating chances out of nothing and will keep plugging away.

‘The thing is that we believe in ourselves and we are all sticking together, which is the most important thing.’
