After being banished to the Under-21 squad for the last four months, £5m midfielder Jamie O’Hara is back with the Wolves first team and ready to play a part in a promotion push at Molineux.

The former Tottenham Hotspur player has also been taken off the transfer list and has thanked manager Kenny Jackett after being handed the chance to revive his career.

‘The last four months has definitely humbled me and made me appreciate how much I love playing football,’ he said.

‘I want to be at this club and I’m grateful Kenny has given me a second chance. This has definitely been a low point in my career but hopefully I can have a fresh start,’ he told the club’s website.

Saturday’s opponents for the Sky Blues, Notts County, lifted themselves off the foot of the table on Tuesday night. The managerless Magpies defeated Oldham Athletic 3-2 at Meadow Lane.

Sheffield United, meanwhile, have completed the loan signing of Leeds United defender Aidy White until the new year.
