Coventry City’s 3-1 win over Blackpool on Tuesday night was watched by the lowest league crowd to see a game at the Ricoh Arena, 15,803.

Vital view: A disappointing but not entirely unexpected attendance given the close proximity of the games at Old Trafford and against Charlton.

With another heavy spell of games coming up towards the end of October, maybe the Sky Blues could look at a triple ticket offer for the games against Watford, Colchester and West Ham?

  • It’s always difficult striking a balance between attracting more fans and not alienating season ticket holders with cheap tickets etc. The game against West Ham has been fairly priced at £20 I think.

  • Yes, sorry, I understand now – I got the wrong end of the stick. So, how many does the Ricoh hold?

  • So that’s about equivalent to what we get at Millmoor each week then. But, of course, we are used to it!!
