Freddy Eastwood will finally make it to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, a matter of weeks after a loan move to Coventry City collapsed.

The Sky Blues are still being linked with a £2m deal for the Wales international, who is set to be on the bench for the big game.

“I`m not going to rake it up – this game doesn`t need any other side show,” Wolves manager Mick McCarthy, whose opposite number Chris Coleman was left high and dry after the deal fell through, told the Express & Star.

‘I found some of the stuff that was written and said at the time absolutely astounding.

“But this game is important enough as it is and the issue will have zero impact on me.

“If somebody wants to take their eye off the ball and create something that`s not necessary then that`s their problem.”
