Coventry City supporters on Twitter this week are ‘celebrating’ an anniversary that they would rather not be.

In many ways, despite the joyful release of the win at Wembley in March, 2017 has been the most depressing year of all.

Not just because of relegation on the pitch, most supporters can cope with the ebb and flow of football fortunes, but because any pretence or feeling that the club still had some respect for us has completely disappeared.

The announcement of ticket prices for the Stoke City game in the FA Cup is just the latest example of that.
